A Red Light Stick Ocean Project for G-DRAGON TOUR 2017Hosted by K-FAMdomentals Projects
As G-DRAGON embarks on what is now the biggest solo KPOP tours in the World, us VIPs want to make a project that he will be astounded by. With the help of VIPs around the world, we will make a tour-wide light stick ocean using bags colored red, known as the Sea of Love Ocean. We estimated this will be around 90,000 bags, around 11,250 bags per stop, including Canada!
WHAT IS THE SEA OF LOVE OCEAN??
The Sea of Love Project is a Tour-wide project for lighting up the venues with red lights using bags to go over the light sticks. This is also known as the Sea of Love Ocean, or an ocean of red lights. Being possibly G-DRAGON’s last tour before enlistment, we want to make this project as a loving support from all of us VIPs, making it tour-wide. We will pass over 90,000 bags FREE (yes FREE) and pass them out to each person at each show. Depending on the song or setlist, we will figure out what song or when to engage the Sea of Love Ocean. with putting bags and instruction sheets on each site (which is the main duty).
HOW CAN YOU MAKE 90,000 BAGS? AND HOW WILL EACH STOP RECEIVE THAT MANY?
Thanks to the power of VIP’s support, we were able to raise over $1000 in total funds from donations and partially from sales. Donors are granted gifts for their support as our appreciation for making this happen. Diving by 8 stops:
Total Bags: 90,000
Number of Stops: 8
Total per stop: 11,250+ Bags
The shipping date of these bags should be no later than July 3, 2017. How will we know fans get them? That’s where volunteers come. Click here to go to the VOLUNTEER’S PILGRIMAGE
This project will be used in the form of red Light sticks. Since the tour theme is all red and white, we decide to make the biggest ocean for a solo artist in all 7 stops, which will require lots of help. Depending on the set list, this will take some strategy and thinking ahead since the 1st show in Seoul is June 10. Once we find out the vendors’ quote, we will begin this project as well.
STEP 1: VIPs pick their bags from our team. Fans with special seats may get both Red and White bags for the message
STEP 2: VIPs hold on to the bags between being in their seats, up to Encore
STEP 3: VIPs prepare to put the bags over their light sticks when Encore begins.
